Congratulations to CQT researchers and their teams who have been awarded grants under Singapore’s Quantum Engineering Programme (QEP)!
Launched in 2018, QEP aims to apply quantum technologies for solving user-defined problems. It has announced a total of 26 projects, which cover quantum communication and security, quantum computing and processors and quantum sensing, under its second phase of funding. These awarded projects were entered to QEP’s calls for proposals that invited researchers to address challenge statements developed through workshops involving both researchers and industry participants.
The successful projects were selected after expert peer review of submissions and range from two to three years long. CQT researchers are involved in 18 of the new projects. Fourteen projects have CQTians serving as lead Principal Investigators (PIs)
and an additional four projects have CQTians as co-Principal Investigators.
