Job Purpose:

To strengthen scientific support the research efforts on a number of projects in the field of quantum optics with single emitters at the single photon level, we are looking for a postdoctoral researcher with relevant experience in experimental physics at a senior level.

Duties & Responsibilities:

The candidate is expected to have experience in various fields of quantum optics, explicitly in the connection with single emitters like single atoms, molecules or ions and interfacing the single emitters with lenses, cavities and waveguides are highly desirable, as the candidate would contribute to the scientific development of the research team, and guide also more junior team members at the graduate and postgraduate level. As some of the technologies in the team may also have potential for translation, experience in handling intellectual property would also be welcome.

The remuneration is competitive and depends on the expertise and skill set.
