Postoctoral position in integrated nonlinear photonics at the Centre for Quantum Technologies

 

We are soliciting applications for a postdoctoral fellow to join the experimental nonlinear photonics team at the Centre for Quantum Technologies, National University of Singapore. The position is within the Exploratory Initiatives group, with close collaboration with the group of Alexander Ling and colleagues in the neighbouring Centre for Advanced 2D Materials. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to contribute to a new research direction, developing hybrid integrated photonic chips to host nonlinear optical materials such as nanodiamonds and 2D layered materials.

 

Applicants should be experimental physicists, holding a PhD in a related field and ideally familiar with:

 

- integrated optics/waveguide platforms

- single photon experiments

- spectroscopy techniques

- optical design and simulation
